My otherwise thriving stephanotis began exhibiting flaccid, no longer waxy, dull leaves, some of them are beginning to turn a sickly yellow-green, some are crisping up and falling off. I carefully inspected the leaves, stems, and dirt for insects, scale, bugs, found none. The root system seems to be fine, and isn't really pot bound. The only thing I can think of is that we've been having some pretty deep sub zero temps, and my plant was close to a window, but not touching it. I have moved it, could this be the problem?

Welcome!

It could be several things. Stephanotis need a winter rest (That means temperatures around 55 degrees and very little water), hate drafts and won't survive temperatures below about 50 degrees. Over watering in winter, too warm, too cold, drafts... all could cause the problems you are seeing. They are touchy plants.

Can you post a photo?

At the bottom of the reply box, there is a button that says 'Upload an Image'. Push that then find your image (it helps if you know eactly where you left it), push 'open', then wait.

It may take a minute or two but your photo will attach and look like gibberish (it may also appear lower in your box than you can see. Scroll down until you see it) but if you push the 'Preview' button, you will see your photo. Then 'Finish'.

Hope this made sense. Smiling
