Any thoughts on this plant? Its got darker green leaves, smooth edges, small yellow/white spots on the leaves, sensitive to over and under watering. Delicate looking with thin tall straight stems, plant was about 8 inches tall. This plant was a treasured gift that died while I was studying abroad and I would really like to get another like it. Any help is appreciated! Even a family or category would help, I don't mind looking through a bunch of species if I get at least get it narrowed down. Thanks!

Agree, that is Dracaena godseffiana, popular as "florida beauty". very good for cut flower foliage. if you cant find it on garden center, try cut-flower store, they are not difficult from cutting (at least in my experience, in tropics)

It looks like the plain species to me, sold as 'Florida Beauty':
Gold Dust Dracaena (Dracaena surculosa)

There's a separate entry for 'FB' also, for anyone who can tell some kind of difference, or buys a plant with this cultivar name attached:
Gold Dust Dracaena (Dracaena surculosa 'Florida Beauty')

Hope you can find one! It really stinks to lose a prized and/or loved plant.
