It really is looking good, Alex. What's the medium in the pot now?

Maybe you could contact the folks at Gardino and ask them what potting soil they use. Why mess with success?

If you can't get what they use, then a good quality potting mix is your best bet.

Jaboticaba trees get really huge, growing in lousy sandy soil here in Florida. Next spring you're going to be asking us how to prune it and pot it down into a smaller pot to try and keep it a reasonable size. It's going to take over your room eventually if you don't.

Yeah I didn't think about the size factor I may repot into a larger final pot it's doing so well now I'm really surprised last year around this time it was dying the secret is growing it in water without consistent moisture joboticia fails to do well indoors something I never thought of until recently

I originally got this plant to bear fruit it may be better off in Florida where it can do so there may come a summer when I do just that give it away to someone in the tropics
I found another smaller plant called mericle fruit it only
gets 8 feet which is more manageable

I have used just regular store brought potting mix I did talk with Gardino about it and they said keep doing what your doing
