Great article about Fig Trees. I have only one fig tree.
Ficus Religiosa. About 2 foot tall. About 16 years old. Grown from seed.
Seed collected from a descendent of the original tree. Gene

Gene, Thumbs up Nice Growing! You should add that photo to the database with the caption:
"About 16 years old. Grown from seed. Seed collected from a descendent of the original tree."

It is indeed a special plant to me. Fell over a few times when young - reason for the twisted trunk. Suffered through many bouts with spider mites (but I now have Azamax which works wonders.) Just the story and connection to such historical things makes me pause and appreciate plants even more than I do already. Gene
