I just pruned my rose bushes in az down to about knee high with 3-5 canes left for growing. From bushes to the 3-5 canes is a big change . My wife wants to know how quickly they will grow back to bushes again as this is our first experience with pruning.

Thank you

In my experience well cared for roses will grow 3 or more feet in a growing season.

Yep 😁
You will get bigger roses, Pruning the way you did.
For more, and smaller roses you leave more canes.
