Hello all,

My aloe pup roots has been rotten and came off, please advice how should I cut the stem and allow new roots to grow?
I have cut out the black and soften bit at the bottom, should I cut more?

I think that should root easily enough once the rot has been removed. Just keep it dry and always use a well draining mix for succulents.

After you cut all rot away to firm growth. Leave it naked in a warm, dry place till it scabs over. A week or two. Then plant.
