This iris grows in the koi pond. It appears more blue in different lighting. Still searching for another photo of it.

Could be Iris versicolor, "Blue Flag" iris.

Thanks, Scott. I do remember that name know that you wrote it! And mine usually appears more blue, not purple as in the lighting of this photo.

It may be a different versicolor. Note that yours doesn't have the prominent yellow blaze, and your style arms aren't as red. Look up some versicolors and see if you find a match.
