It's developed pretty long roots. I shouldn't fail this because its mother plant is not in a good shape. One thing I wonder is that money trees usually have about 5 stems. Are they different cuttings put together?

Yes, it's a novelty. The single stem should be fine on its own. They are trees, you know.... Whistling
