I know what you mean, LG! Hoping they do well, I'll have to keep mine potted in the garage for at least 2-4 months, will probably leave them in pots until late summer. It's worth the effort though....

I will post pix of them when they come. I have to go to Lowes to get more tomato cages to protect them from being stepped on. I'm sure they will give me a weird look.

Received my new order today. Unfortunately, I didn't get to take pictures because is was sundown and I was in a hurry to get the plants in the ground, which still isn't frozen here. The roots were small. Smaller than the ones I got earlier (about 4 weeks ago) but those were from the end of the season last year. Overall happy with the plants. Each had at least 2 eyes and the Simply Red already had a sprout from one of the eyes. It will be at least 2 years to bloom. I am just happy to get some of the varieties unavailable here for now.

I didn't get a tracking number and haven't seen a package yet. How big was your box, gray and which ones did you get? We only have small drop boxes for packages, probably 2-3 shoe boxes stacked would fit but nothing bigger. I'd assume 3 small roots would go in something shoe box sized at the largest....
Mine will be going back into pots until at least late March, maybe for the entire season. I'll take pics when they get in and post back here.

4 roots and approximately shoe box size. Unpack as soon as you receive. Tend to be really moist packed with baggies zip locked closed. I never got anything about shipping this time. I even emailed on Monday because my order was showing as not yet shipped. I got a notice sometime this morning saying the package would be delivered today. The first time I bought, he was very careful to let me know about shipping on a specific day so they would not sit for long. The problem may be with whom he is mailing the plants. They looked healthy, just small. I got Simply Red, Oochigeas, Caroline Constable, and Joanna Marlene. I bet your's arrives tomorrow.
