Hi everyone, I received this cute little thing as a gift, but not sure what type of plant it is.

After having a look around the internet I thought it might be Calandiva, which is possibly a type of Kalanchoe? Thing is I have cats and Kalanchoe is poisonous to them!

I haven't got a clue about plants, so would be grateful if anyone could help me identify it.

Ironic that it is in what looks like a kitty pot if, indeed, it is toxic to cats...

Hi Maisie, Welcome!
Your lovely plant looks like Flaming Katy (Kalanchoe blossfeldiana Calandiva® Soft Pink)

And, yes it is toxic to both cats and dogs:

I'm glad somebody already answered your question because I was going to call it Barbara.
