I took a bunch of Chinese Lantern Hibiscus - (Hibiscus schizopetalus) last Fall and pretty much forgot about them as they were tucked on a bottom shelf. When I discovered them yesterday I was astonished to see them blooming or with buds - I potted up 6 with good roots (saving one for you Jay).

It always amazes me to see cuttings of plants make flowers that are bigger than the cuttings - Brugmansia does this as well.

"The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country. "
