I have started 2 plant items in containers. How deep would each container have 2 b 4 these 2 items?

Chard... Likes to be crouded. Head lettuce no. At least a 12 x 12 inch pot.

I don't think either requires a very deep container, though; I grow both lettuce and chard in flowerbox planters that sit on a deck railing (or, in my case, on top of the fence around my garden Smiling )
