I just bought a lovely houseplant called gold fish plant. When I looked for it in the NGA plant database, I found many possibilities. When I googled "gold fish plant" two different genera came up.

Can anyone suggest its identification and care?

What you have is Nematanthus .. it looks like it could be "Black Gold".

Goldfish Plant (Nematanthus 'Black Gold')

Thank you, Anne. It does look like some of the NGA images of Nemanantus Black Gold, i.e., the ones with orange flowers.

Do you have any suggestions for how I should care for it?

I keep mine on the dry side but not parched - feed it every couple of weeks or so with that 1 tbs per gallon food. Seems to do best in really bright light but not direct sun unless its early morning or late afternoon sun.
