A superb plant here. To me, just the right height, good spacing of blooms, and rich, brilliant red color.

I love reds, and this one is great in my zone 8 garden. It is tall, huge and best of all holds its color and form all day. It bloomed from June 11th through at least July 16th. My only complaint is that I was unable to set any pods on it, but it is pollen fertile. I will try again next year...

had this one on the west side of the house where it performed good this past year 2016 but moved it out to the front bed in full sunlight to get to fully appreciate this daylily because of it's sunfast color and performance.

Outstanding in zone 4b!

Blooms opened early and stood up all day to the high altitude sun. Stood out with 50" scapes in a group of tall Davissons, Goldners, and other Gossard Daylilies. Grown in sandy high drainage soil, fed once toward the beginning of the season. The scapes were tough, we get sudden gusts of thirty to forty miles per hour winds with only very low protection, and we had no scape collapse.

If I were a touch more compulsive I would grow ten or fifteen clumps of this beautiful red.

I dont grow this one but have always meant to! I grow some of its close relatives, like Megatron. However, I've heard Jamie give talks at least 4-5 times, and talked with him informally as well several times. I've heard him state publicly at least TWICE that he thinks this may be his best introduction to date. Coming from a hybridizer as prolific and noted as Jamie, that's quite an endorsement.

Shameless

There is a double fan of HEAVENLY UNITED WE STAND on the Lily Auction at $13 right now. I wouldn't mention this except for the fact that it is listed as an AHS Region 11 benefit auction item. Region 11 is where I grow all of my winter daylilies.

I received a great plant and great service at a bargain price once when I won a bid listed from AHS Region 11. It actually was shipped by an individual. I wonder how many Region 11 members participate in their auction? They offer a lot of recent cultivars and usually the bids seem to come in at a reasonably low cost. So $13 seems a good starting price for 'Heavenly United We Stand' . HUWS has been on my wish list for a while, but I've never tried to acquire it due to its normal cost being more than I was willing to part with.

I'm so sorry to post this so late but this is my very favorite daylily. I've had Heavenly United We Stand for many years and in my zone 5 garden it just gets better every year! In 2016 it bloomed for 2 1/2 months. I found this remarkable. So many blooms, all the scapes straight and strong, proliferation like crazy and that beautiful sunfast red. Best performing daylily I've ever had.
