Hi, I just bought my first palm today( I believe it's a pygmy date palm) from a local box store, and I see the bottom of every leaf is covered with small off-white raised bumps along the center line/spine.
Is this normal, or is it eggs of some pest, or ???
Thanks so much!
Please let me know if I need to post a better photo.

No problems. Those are part of the leaf.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
