I have a pal that's turning purple is this normal does it need espom salts

The new growth is purple on many of them. Not to worry.

Yup, quite normal occurrence for Phals. I am more concerned if I see yellowing at the base of the leaves or leaves going mushy.

The flowers are probably a dark color.
