I agree Not sure what it was doing at a Christmas Tree Shop. Maybe when its bigger, you can post another photo (on this thread. please don't start a new one) and we can give identification another try.

I agree it looks like some kind of asparagus but the soil looks very wet. You may want to cut back on watering a bit.

I was wondering about Asparagus densiflorus 'Sprengeri' but the leaves don't seem quite the same length:

It reminds me most of the juvenile form of Asparagus Fern (Asparagus densiflorus 'Sprengeri') rather than Asparagus Fern (Asparagus setaceus) which has a lacier appearance.

Asparagus densiflorus 'Sprengeri' ...... Asparagus setaceus

vadeleg617, I forgot to say Welcome!

Can you tell us what area this plant was purchased, the state or country might help in narrowing down a more exact ID.

Have you seen the under soil structure of the plant? I was going to say that it reminds me a bit of Moa (Psilotum nudum) but Psilotum have no true roots or leaves, only stems.

Looking at more photos for comparison, I'm leaning more towards it being Asperagus 'Sprengeri'. Maybe leaflet length is variable with different growing conditions?

There's a close up of leaves on this page:
