Can anyone ID this compact bromeliad? These are only about 6" tall and propagate from offset runners (don't know if that's the correct term) extending from the base of the plant. For proportion, these three plants are growing on an 11" wide tree-fern raft.

Looks like Neo. Donger or maybe Nemo. Nemo has more white coloring and less pink than Donger.

At times of the year they look a lot alike.

Thanks, Scott. She does look like the Neo. Donger. I will watch for any color change, but this is the color since I got her in December.

Ken, Donger grows very much like Fireball producing many plants on stolons from the mother plant. Best color achieved with quite a bit of sun.

From what I have seen submitted by several folks (and thank you all for responding), my plants appear to be the Donger.

I have Donger and it is very prolific, it has tripled in size in a year, still sending offshoots now in January. It is one of my favortie bromeliads, Zoe is a close second.
This is a picture of it today, after I cleaned all the leaves off it.

I found this on Bromeliad Paradise....seems size it the only difference.

Neoregelia ‘Nemo’ is a very attractive little albo-marginated Neo hybrid reminiscent of 'Donger' only about double the size. Very prolific and nicely colored with it's reddish-pink blush. Averages about 5″ – 7″

Mine looks forlorn compared to yours, Sherri, but that sure looks like a ringer. If I keep the one(s) I have, I expect that in a few months, it will become a gorgeous tree-fern raft of plants.

Sherri, that is a gorgeous photo! Your single photo is currently the only picture of Donger in the database; I think you should add that close up photo to the category: Leaves. It really shows beautiful color. Neoregelia 'Donger'

Thanks Lin, I added it, truly something to see the pics side by side. FYI this has taken temps down to 36, I did toss a frost proof cloth around it the two nights we dipped that low. I have a rain barrel and only water my bromeliads with rain water.
