Plumeria forum: cut terminal Thyrsiform inflourescences (the stem of the flower) after bloom?

I live up north bring plumeria inside. After a few blooms the stem remained, what will help further blooming? Dead head the stem or leave it to bloom later? other question : DO you remove flowers one by one or cut the stem and have a group of cut flowers blooming at different times. Thanks!
