Could be Foxtail Agave (Agave attenuata). Looks like the leaves were fairly stiff with a pretty nasty terminal spine and of course it is forming a trunk. Color is not quite as green as I would normally expect, but I guess that could be the picture.

It does look like Foxtail Agave (Agave attenuata)

There are a few with blue-grayish leaves.
