Do you like it wild? I do! Let's see what's out there. Here's a couple pics from today, colorful foliage huddled together near a S window.

Nice blend. What is the lime-light green- a Dracaena? Really pops!

I have a shallow wide basket with a variegated lucky bamboo, a coffee plant, and a Firestick euphorbiam and Inky finger coleus, it's a happy mix.

TY! Yes, it's this one:
Corn Plant (Dracaena fragrans 'Limelight')

If you feel like sharing a pic of your foliage combo, I'd love to see it! Sounds cool.

These sit next to it. That's a little 'silver' begonia I found at Walmart. Looked unlike any I knew so I was curious to see how it would grow. I don't think the leaves will get any bigger than about 2 inches though.

Coleus seems to enjoy teaming up with any plant that has an empty square inch of surface space when I'm trimming them all down to save for winter.

Hamwild, thanks, I got a 3 inch Home Depot plant and gave to my son for school It is about six yes old and has been in a loft with boys, an office with me. And my house. It naturally added some stems along the way and here is the original momma plant
Thumb of 2017-02-20/sallyg/74501b
The one before is rooted stems. From momma. They live outside in warm weather. I really like how this plant stays upright and narrow, unlike many other houseplants that eventually get so wide.

The gorgeous pink splotches on these leaves make my heart sing! Zigzag/devil's backbone (Euphorbia/Pedilanthes tithymaloides.) This is a very recent cutting.

Neoregelia! This always makes me think of a ladies' painted fingernails. More pink than the technology of my camera will capture.

Tiffany, that red Ficus sure is cool variegation!!
Is the ponytail almost red in the middle? I had mine in morning sun, not quite as much as your most of the day sun would be. Still, I don't remember any hint of red. It loved being outside though.
Great plants Thumbs up

hahaha!
I foresee some cool cultivars. How about a Man Bun Ponytail Palm? Not sure what that would look like, but we were discussing man buns with the kids the other night. My coworker has one. Great guy but quite an individual.

I love brightly colored foliage ... almost as much as I love blooms! These are two I just added to the database yesterday:

No name Neoregelia. ...................................... Purple Velvet (Gynura)

Codieum (Croton) in the atrium and Dracaena marginata 'Colorama' that got too much sun so a couple of days ago I moved it to the atrium to recover.

Leaf of my Philodendron xanadu that is in dire need of a bigger pot and the colorful dying? leaves of a neighbors Tree Philodendrons; I don't have a clue what caused the intense color but I thought it was pretty. Smiling

Sally, I am the worst plant caretaker so I can't offer tips on care; mine just sit outside and get neglected like the ones planted in the yard.

Good enough! Probably means they like heat, light, and good drainage. Most as potted indoors are probbly too wet and not well lit

Oh yes, they love the heat and humidity; they are a popular landscape plant here in Florida and do require good drainage when grown in containers.

These are growing in my front yard:
