This is REALLY unusual for Pennsylvania in February:

But given that, can I mow my grass lightly? Over the winter it has grown unevenly and there are tons of leaves where a tree fell and I can't rake them all (it's a huge area) so if I can safely mow the grass (and leaves) that'd be best.

But I've never been a "lawn care" person so I wanted to ask here. If you all say not to mow it, I won't.
Keep going!

I doubt that would hurt. Sure would help getting the leaves up, and if you compost them, they should start off nicely.
The ground may be soft and bumpy (or , mine is) so you might scalp a few spots. But there's time for it to grow in.
Plant it and they will come.

I agree with Sally, I don't see a problem with mowing now unless your ground is very soft and you are using a ride-on mower that might dig in.

I know nothing about grass in Pennsylvania but I'd think at this time of year, the grass would be dormant and a light mowing to mulch the leaves would be fine.
