Hey all. Got some pass along iris a few years ago, name long lost. Any help please? Really interesting muted coloring.

Welcome! Glad to see you join the forum! You may find a lot of irises that look like that, so be ready to make some test plantings. It is helpful if we know the height, bloom time, foliage color, so when it blooms this spring collect extra data and that should help to get a positive ID for your NOID.

There are three that look a lot alike. Tennessee Gentleman (shown above),

Instructor:

and Ominous Stranger:

Yours could be any one of these three I think. But I lean toward Instructor because of the slightly darker beard color and the less stitching on the falls. The only way to know for sure would be to grow them together and compare.
