I live in Southern California, and I just bought this plant. Beautiful, red stems, tiny green leaves

After doing a little research, I think it could be a Begonia caudex. Maybe a Begonia caffra or Begonia natalensis. It is a cute little thing. It would be cool if it's Begonia, they are one of my favs. nodding
