|Hello. I live in the Amazon jungle and recently went on holiday to Mexico where i bought some "Marigold Seeds" they look like ordinary seeds but now that they have grown some have reached 3 metres high.
They are still very beautiful and attract lots of Hummingbirds and Butterflies.
Have i done something wrong ?
i grew Marigolds in the UK and they were only 15 inches high at best.

|From Mexico it could be Tagetes lemmonii or T. palmeri; both are rather tall.
Edited to add:
You may have received seeds that were mislabeled; they might be sunflowers.
