Hello all! I have receveid recently a stromanthea triostar and even tho it has 2 new growths it keeps getting yellow leaves which eventually they die or i cut them. Have any of you experienced anything like this?

Welcome!

You don't say what conditions you have where you are growing your Stromanthe so I will just give you some suggestions:

High humidity is a must. Sitting the pot above a pebble tray or near a humidifer would be great.

Damp but not soggy. Don't water until the top inch of soil is dry.

Indirect light. A north or east window - they burn easily.

Don't put it in the draft of A/C or heat vents.

My guess is that you are over-watering.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
