Hello.
I live in the Amazon Jungle and recently had a vacation in Mexico.
While i was there i bought some Marigold seeds.
I planted them and they looked fine but they will not stop growing. Some of them are now 9 feet tall. They are still very beautiful and have lots of Hummingbirds and Butterflies on them but can you tell me what has gone wrong or is this normal. I grew them in the UK many times and they were never bigger than 15 inches tall.

regards

Welcome! I can't help you, but that sounds impressive! Can you take a photo and post it for us! I hope others more familiar with them will come along. I've only had short ones growing in Arizona and New Mexico.

Sounds like they were mislabeled, maybe they are sunflowers.
Please, if you can, add photos.

Hi John, Welcome!

It appears you've made duplicate posts; a few of us commented and made suggestions on the other thread you started here: The thread "3 Metre Marigolds" in Ask a Question forum
