Another species I got started indoors. One thing I have noticed about Argyreia and Merremia is the seeds have been very slow to germinate (30 days sometimes vs. 1-7 days for Ipomoea nil or Ipomoea purpurea) and are they also grow very slowly. This species and Argyreia thorelii seem to favor filtered sunlight too. Direct sunlight at the heat of the day seems to wilt them. I have had to grow them in ziploc bags too because the air indoors is too dry.

I can't wait to see your flowers from this plant! I Googled it since I never heard of this type before and they remind me of little bells (kinda)

Pretty cool Joseph...how long before you will see flowers?
It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...

The small seedling added a nice full leaf in the past couple of weeks. What a hairy critter it is!

I was admiring my Argyreia leucantha today and look what I found! This plant began life in October 2016 and these are the first flower buds!

Flowers opened while I was away! More buds should yield more blooms in a couple of weeks.

Thanks, Ronnie! Y'know the first thing I did was gove the flower a sniff. Sadly I did not detect any fragrance.
