Just purchased 'Majestic Jade'. Are you familiar with that variety? Soil preference?

I haven't come across Majestic Jade, sorry - but I googled it and it looks a handsome plant. As far as I'm aware, English laurel is tough and tolerates most situations - we have nasty clay soil here and it's very happy.
