About 2 or 3 years ago we bought some plants called X Factor. It is a lovely green evergreen shrub which has been great for screening.

We now want to buy some more but cannot find them anywhere. We don't know what the genus name is and wonder if you have ever heard of it.

It would help if you can tell us where it is growing and whether it produces blooms, as well as any other characteristics you have noticed.

Need to know what city/state/country/area/region.
Can you please try again to get a clear image of the leaves. Also, step back and take a photo of the entire plant. Please give us some indication of its size/height/width, etc. Thank you. Thank You!

I am thinking that calling something the "X Factor" means that it is a hybrid. With not enough information I will hazard a guess at some type of hybrid Euonymus.

Hi TheWards, Welcome!

You don't have to give your exact location but knowing a state or part of the country where the shrubs are growing will be help to narrow down an ID. Have you ever seen flowers on your shrubs? Can you post a photo of the stem/bark or a picture from a little distance?

A search of that name turns up nothing even resembling the plant pictured. Yes, please, any other details would be most helpful.
