I'm slowly building my own little rose garden (I have a Hybrid Tea "Peace", a climbing Don Juan, and soon a David Austin Scepter'd Isle). Knowing this, my friends will bring me all kinds of roses from Walmart, Lowe's, or Home Depot (I live in South Florida) for special occasions. For Valentine's Day, I was given this potted miniature rose bush. I have no idea of the name (if it even has one) but was curious if someone could help me identify it.
Thanks so much!

|These are very hard to ID unless you have a tag or label attached to the original pot. There are companies that specialize creating mini roses for grocery store, big box stores, etc.|

|I've only grown six miniatures. I'm sure I couldn't distinguish the rose in the third photo from Winsome or the pink in the second photo from Cupcake. But as Sue said, they could be anything.
I bought a rose labelled Yellow Sunblaze from Lowes in Fall. It's a Meilland mini. Trouble is, there are two. There is this one, introduced in 1982, and a brighter yellow one introduced in 2004. Given the label and the name alone, one would not be able to correctly identify the rose! AAARGH.
When you dance with nature, try not to step on her toes.
