Here is my only really pretty bloomer right now, a Double Santa Claus. A keeper!

Thanks Melissa, and yes we had a very bad storm with hail damage again on Monday night then 2" of rain, now it is supposed to get very cold.

I do have a lot of the double purples, which are growing very slowly. I didn't kill one bud on one plant, but it's sitting there about 1/4 of an inch long. Grow! Grow!! Grow!!!!!

I helped Mike recently with his rather giant order. Yes, I have a bunch of 'double purple', but they are still only about two inches tall from the graft. I did have a nice bud on one that we were watching with baited breath (??) but it RAINED after I'd watered, and the stupid bud rotted and dropped off. Arghhhhh!

I'm beginning to prepare a special DR flower bed on the steep hill in front of my house- drainage city! No more rot! everybody into the ground!
