I cannot find this weed on this website
Can someone tell me what it is and how to get rid of it?
As it has a seed presumably it's not possible to kill it by using a weed killer?
It roots quite deep and I have so far been digging them up.

Thank you the information on Celadine it certainly seems to answer all of the points.

I tried last year to dig it up but haven't succeeded in getting rid of it.
Many thanks again for your prompt reply

Hi Richard. It looks like it could be Arum. There are many different kinds of arum, and it can be difficult to get rid of. Be sure to cut off the blooms stalks before they go to seed.
Arums (Arum)

I have this one.
Italian Arum (Arum italicum)
