I recently received 2 plants when my mother passed away and I'd like to know the names so I can take good care of them. Any help would be great. Thanks

Plant #1 looks like Corn Plant (Dracaena fragrans)
Plant #2 looks like Pothos (Epipremnum aureum Pearls and Jade®)

Would the Pothos plant also be called Creeping Fig perhaps or are they 2 different plants??

Compare the first one to Yucca gigantea. The pointed tips of the leaves make me wonder if it might be that. Spineless Yucca (Yucca gigantea)

The 2nd one looks like a Pothos to me too, and yes, Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) and creeping fit (Ficus pumila) are different. There are a few types pictured here, as well as the plain species:
