I bought the pepper seeds at Kitazawa. Many unusual veggies there from Asia. I love those Japanese Peppers!!

My tomato and pepper seedlings are doing great so far. I just thinned the tomato seedlings. Some had multiples in each section. I try to put two seeds in each section just in case all don't come up. Sometimes seeds are stuck together and I get a bunch of plants.

I gently pull out the weaker plants so hopefully the rest do really great.

I always plant several seeds in each pot also...those peppers were so cute! I wrote down the company name....maybe next year I'll give them a try!

I had heard of Shishito Peppers for years and wanted to try. So when I found plants at Home Depot (of all places!) last year I bought two plants. Fabulous flavor and they just keep on cranking out the peppers.

After that I wanted to try some other Japanese peppers also as well as bring back the Shishitos.

The local Home Depot has a very large nursery section. In Spring they simply enlarge it out over part of the parking lot. Flowers (mostly annuals) and veggies and herbs in row after row. I have gotten lots there.

Veggies mostly in one pot. They don't seem to have 6 packs. Great for buying tomato plants if you have a small garden and would like a few plants and different varieties.

WOW.....you have more varieties than the professional growers! NONE of my tomato seeds germinated....one seedling came up in one pot & it looks like a cabbage....I'm very disappointed....always had good luck with my toms......guess I'm buying all them this year......

Oh no. That is sad that your seeds didn't come up!!

I used to buy my tomato seedlings but last year I started to grow my own. So growing my own this year again. It works well for me. I can have all these unusual varieties.

Lots of peas planted today. All of the ones I do in pots or containers and then 3 places of inground done. Still to do is the long narrow garden bed I made just for peas last fall. It work out good. My plan was to leave it as peas and double crop it, spring and fall.

So peas planted today-

Swiss Giant Snow Peas
Green Beauty
Super Sugar Snap
Sugar Snap
Sugar Sprint
Sugar Lace II
Cascadia

Still to do-
Magnolia Blossom
Sugar Magnolia
Spring Blush

Finished planting the rest of the peas today so that is all done. Then I worked on setting tomato cages exactly where I need them to be for planting. Came inside and ordered some Kale Seeds.

Sometimes they fool you by taking too long but then pop up. Lets hope more do come up.

Are you out of seeds?
