RobinD said:Awesome! Is this the latest you've had large tomatoes? I need to check on my green beans...hoping I have some....the bush that I left in the ground was full of blossoms...... Yes, it is. This has been a very warm Fall season which really helped the tomatoes. |

I have dug all my carrots & beets, washed & dried them, & packed them in storage bags......now I need some recipes! |

I just boil beets and after they are cooked peel and slice them. Add some butter and eat. Yumm, yumm, yumm. |

Here it is almost December and I still have not pulled out all my dead by now tomato plants. I was outside today making some progress, I pulled up and bagged 20 plants but still have a bunch left to do. |

I pulled out all the plants but left them to compost .....nothing was diseased, so hopefully, they just enrich the soil....have 3 pumpkins I threw in there also......that means I'll be plucking pumpkin seedlings all spring! |

My tomato plants are never healthy enough to go in the compost pile plus there is just too many of them and no room for them in the compost. |

Peas are good for composting....add lots of nitrogen back into the soil. |
