It's cultivar poll time again ...... This being the 6th Poll!

Once again, Jon and I would like members to please pick cultivars that they OWN, that ALSO list several other owners (at "least" 3 members that have the cultivar) as "have" in the database so that more members here on ATP can post their evaluations. The more members that own a plant, the better (to have numerous evaluations). Please also make sure that you post the correct name and spelling of the cultivars you list. You can list up to 10 cultivars that you actually own and are willing to post an evaluation for when the cultivar is featured as the Daylily of the Day.

And don't forget that you can post an evaluation at any time to any of the Daylily of the Day threads. An acorn will be awarded for each evaluation. You can post "annual" evaluations of any cultivars at least a year after your previous evaluation of that cultivar. (And earn another acorn tip!) Previous featured Daylilies of the Day cultivar threads can be found in this forum:
http://garden.org/forums/view/...

Let the next list of cultivars begin ..... (list up to 10 cultivars that have NOT been featured yet, that you and other members own.) Please check the Plant Database to make sure it's not been a featured daylily of the day cultivar before adding to your list. Thanks!

This poll will end on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Thanks for helping choose more cultivars for evaluations!!! We appreciate your help and enthusiasm!

Becky,
Where in the Plant Database will I find if the cultivar has previously been a daylily of the day?
Thanks!

I find it easiest just to google the plant and look for the images in the NGA daylily database. If the plant was once a featured plant of the day, that will be shown conspicuously in the right-hand margin.

In the first list of the URL that Becky gave is the heading "Past Plants of the Day." If you put your cultivar's name in the search box (upper right), the results will show if it was a plant of the day.

Throw out a few of mine, as I exceeded the limit.

Cynthia - Mantis is correct. If you look up any cultivars in the plant database, the Daylily of the Day link will be directly under the photo (to the right) at the top of the cultivar database. If no link is listed, then it has not yet been featured.

Mantis - Thanks for the great explanation! I will include your extra cultivars listed. I prefer to have a nice long total list to feature when Jon and I alternately start listing them each day.

I will list mine soon. I just have to sit down long enough to check what I have and verify it against the database.

I made an effort this time to pick plants I had at least over a year, as my plants age (most of them are still only a year or two old) I should be able to make better choices and add a few comments to the discussion. I am finding out that three years is almost a minimum for daylily reports and most of my plants are not that old.

I see that Curt's Gift was done recently, but I am interested in Boyd's experience.
