Footloose is really trying! You can see the wrinkles in the leaves from frost damage but it still is pushing for 3 stalks. I really wish this TB would not be in such a hurry to bloom.

And I have mixed opinions about the fact that ANOTHER TB wants to bloom now. What is the rush Prissy Christy?

The bad news: That snow. The best possible news: She is in a pot and I can move her inside! Hurray!

How exciting about your blooms!!!! Can't wait to see the pics. And I sympathize about the cat!! With me it's a dog!! I left him outside for an extended period yesterday and found 4 broken leaves this morning. Ugggg
I think the people who grow Irises are about as special as the flower itself!

Look at all those buds and diamond dusting too! On Saturday I would cut the stalk on the left and bring it inside. Those buds are far enough along to all open.

It looks like Charlotte misses the snow in the current models so that is a plus!

I am embarrassed to say this one opened and I didn't even notice it had a bud. The screaming yellow of the bloom certainly let me know it was there!

Thanks Bonnie! I am enjoying his first bloom!

Browns have a pretty wide range. Gizmo is a rich golden reddish brown that changes with the light, whereas some lighter browns stay pretty neutral. I got lucky with the light yesterday and caught a picture that was true to color.

Stunning! I ordered Gizmo the Gremlin based on your pictures last year Leslie. I hope I get to see mine too!

Browns are much prettier than people think. They can have purple blended in or red or more of a neutral light color, so many pretty ones.

Soon you will have lots of gremlins Liz because Gizmo is a good grower. Big Grin I think mine bloomed it's first year, so I wouldn't be surprised to see pics from you soon!
