Could anybody me tell me what this pretty flowering fragrant plant it? I spotted it in someone's garden this week, the scent was fantastic!

One of my favourites. The scent is wonderful.
I agree with kniphofia ....Daphne.
With yellow edges to the leaf it is probably Daphne odora aureomarginata.
