Terri, your seedlings look great! I love checking on mine every day to see what they've done. Have you grown corkscrew vine before? I had two last year that came back from the previous year. I was excited because I wasn't able to get any seeds the previous year and I thought I would be able to get some this year, but they weren't ready before frost, and I have a long growing season. Where did you find your seeds? All I've been able to find are plants. The seeds I got before were from Ella's seed swap.

I just love looking at the photos of River. Puts a smile on my face. I LOVE his color! He looks like he was having fun!

I've never grown corkscrew vine before. I had a packet of 3 seeds that I picked up from the grab bag table at one of our Mid Atlantic seed swaps a couple of years ago. I'm pretty excited that all 3 have germinated. Summerhill Seeds shows a photo of it as their featured vine, but I don't see an actual listing for purchasing the seeds Shrug! I don't see it at Swallowtail either. I'm really hoping that I have some success with the seed starting efforts this year. I also want to try to collect seeds from my gardens this year too, another thing I've never done before. Could be a year of a lot of firsts for me LOL.

River is a beautiful dog and OMG what a personality. He is more rambunctious and into everything more than any other dog we've ever had. He is definitely the most bonded with Bonnie, which is a good thing, but he is very affectionate with everyone in the household. He always puts a smile on my face too, even when he is being naughty Rolling on the floor laughing

Loved all these photo's and while I really enjoyed the seedlings, the River photo's are my favorite Lovey dubby

Can't wait to hear about your laundry room project.

I haven't found seeds anywhere either! Last fall I took a couple of cuttings but they didn't do anything. Haven't gotten a seed pod to mature either. Well, I did collect a couple but I am not sure the seed is viable. I should put them in some starter mix and see what happens. I still have one vine by my arbor I am hoping comes back this year. The other one I cut down and I don't think it will survive. They are in the legume family so I was surprised they came back at all. Off to see if I did save any seeds! I'll let you know!

Be forewarned, they travel a lot!!! One jumped from one trellis to the rose trellis. So my advice is put them somewhere they can spread. The flowers smell wonderful and are such a novelty! I think they are harder for the bees to pollinate, that's why you don't get a lot of seed pods.
