'Ram' is a semi-evergreen tetraploid introduced in 1994 by Whatley.
It has earned the following AHS awards:
Award of Merit: 2005
Honorable Mention: 2002

|Blooms later in the season. Big, imposing flowers. Modest bud count, but flowers are consistently good.

|Outstanding daylily but should be planted on front row.I think it is a little shorter here in zone 6b than the listed 25 inches.|

|I agree with Boyd. Mine is in the front row. When I first saw RAM bloom my jaw dropped at such a large elegant bloom with the white on the tip of the petals. Ram will always be in my garden.

|I ordered Ram in the fall and it's in a pot on my deck. I'm hoping it will bloom this season. Glad to hear the reports that it is short. I will put in the front row of a bed on the front side of the house.
