...toward southerners, that is.

How can Plant a Flower Day be justifiable on a day when 1/3 of the country still experiences frozen soil in their garden? Shouldn't Plant a Flower Day be in late spring or summer? Ah well, it's the thought that counts! I planted a bunch of seeds today, but most were veggies. I was actually planning on planting some flower seeds tomorrow, just by chance. Does that count for 'Plant a Flower Day'? Big Grin

Yes it does! It is actually not Plant a Flower day yet. These go up the night before the actual day.

LoL, I think our meanings got crossed, though I'm not sure. I noted that Plant a Flower day is tomorrow...the question 'does that count' was actually referring to whether or not planting the seeds (flower seeds) counts as planting a flower since my ground is too frozen to plant flowers right now. Hilarious! It just so happens that I did my veggie planting yesterday and today and left my flower seeds to plant tomorrow (which just happens to be Plant a Flower day).

Well, now, to make that even more confusing, I happened to post that just after midnight. So, technically I'll be planting the seeds 'today', which Judy happened to be plant a flower day.

LOL, I'm in the far south and the past two days I've planted 3 Nerium oleander, a Crepe Myrtle and some Petunia's.

Well ... to be honest, we have had a cool down the past couple of nights with temp's dropping into the low 40's but days warm up to the 60's. Green Grin!
