Can someone please explain to me the difference between Sempervivum Tectorum, thompsonianum, pittonii, helveticum, calcareum, braunii, marmoreum and ciliosum? I understand the arachnoideum but it would be nice to understand the others.
Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Ryan, here is a list of the different species of sempervivum. Look through the first page and a half to see them. Looking at the photos will give you an idea of some of the differences between the species.

Then maybe Kevin will be by and try to clear some of the answers for you.

Thanks Lynn,
So many varieties that I didn't realize exist. I was also able to look at the cultivars I am getting from you so I can see what other colors they are throughout the year. Beautiful!
