Hi coleenrena, Welcome!
Your lovely flower is a Rose of some sort. We have lots of photos in our database for comparison: https://garden.org/plants/brow...

Hopefully someone will recognize yours and be able to offer an exact ID.

Rose was my first thought but this plant has thorny seedpods.

Looks to me that there are at least two different plants. The bloom looks like Rosa multiflora,
Don't know what the prickly seed pod belongs to.

It's not clear that the flower and the seed pod are on the same plant. If you enlarge the second photo, in the upper right it looks very much like the remnants of another white bloom forming a typical rose hip on a thorned branch. Any chance of getting a look at the seeds in those nasty looking pods?

I don't see any leaves that are clearly rose leaves.

The thorny canes and that bloom look like a Rose to me. The thorny pods look so familiar but for the life of me I can't think of the plant that I'm thinking of that they go with. It might help to know where these plants are growing.

Very odd, I have never seen thorns on rose hips. I see at least three types of leaves.

The thorny pod is similar to those on prickly poppy.
