I have two issues with my day lilies in NC,
1). I believe I have mealybugs that have shown up already this year. Since I have 90+ plants, what is the best deterrent and what method of application. I have attached a photo of leaves taken from one plant.
2) I also think I had leaf miner the last few years and again what is the solution and application method. Thanks

The bugs in the top picture aren't very clear but to me they look more like shed aphid skins, compare with this picture from the AHS:

Your second leaf almost looks like something has been splashed on it, is that a possibility?

Thanks Sue, I agree they are aphids. The damage to the leaves is probably frost???? Nothing was spilled on them...Happy Spring

I don't think it is frost but I'm not sure what it is if nothing has been spilled or sprayed on them. Hopefully the new growth is not affected? Looking forward to spring here but we still have snow on the ground Sighing!
