Hiall
my plants spen winter in the cellar with plant lamp. All was fine till recently. After a deadly attack of spider mite lost most of the leaves. I use the pesticide which is supposed to fight the mite too. Also washed off the insects with water and soap. Still one of the 3 branches (plant 4 yrs old) is rotting. Need help..
ps a smaller plant from the same room feels ok

If the black rot is spreading, I would cut off the diseased part, and put some cinnamon on the fresh cut and let it callus.

Welcome! Gabrieldiprose
I agree with Tarev; black rot should be removed as soon as possible or it may spread to the whole plant.

It's often caused by too much moisture during the winter months. It would help to know where you are located.

Yes, you are in a non-tropical or -subtropical climate. You are always going to be dealing with issues like this, sorry to say. Sad
