~-~-~-~ Lowe's ~-~-~-~
The sub-freezing temps have force Lowe's to bring out the plant clearance racks! YIPPEE!!!

I just picked up two Carolina Jessamine for $8.00 each. They had a larger one for $10.00.

I also got 10 Aquilegia canadensis 'Little Lanterns' in quart pots for $1.00 each.

Of course, HD doesn't really do clearance. But, I'm probably going to have to head back down this evening for some hosta. Tey have 3 varieties that I don't have. Quarts are $4 each and gallon are $7. Whistling

I took advantage of their 15% off sale on containers last week. My stuff arrived to, so I can start potting things up as soon as the temps go back up and stay up. Our den is littered with packages of hosta, bleeding heart and fern roots. Crossing Fingers!

Sounds like some great deals.... Guess this weather is causing havoc for the garden centers.
I'm Soooo trying to stay out of garden centers right now... Plants and seedlings have taken over
my house.... But sounds like to good of deals to pass up on.....

'Little Lanterns' is such a cutie pie! You've picked up enough for a little patch that will really show off. I drove right past Lowe's last night... Hmm..

I'm actually thinking of going over tomorrow to get more, if they still have them.

The really bad part about shopping at HD is that I have an HD credit card. It may be taking a major hit verrrrrry soon. Whistling

Very doubtful! It wouldn't matter anyway.

If Lowe's still has the aquilegia and carolina jessamine, I 'm definitely picking up more. I'll let y'all now if I end up with any extras.

Rolled on over to Lowe's this morning... I picked up another 20 Little Lanterns and 2 dozen wooly thyme. (I would have bought more, but the car was full of new patio cushions. bummer!
