I had posted two photos of a Baccharus earlier, I thought was Baccharis genistelloides subsp. crispa. Now I find I jumped too early to conclusion. There is really a big list of Baccharus in the Flora do Brasil, in that state where photographed. Many are look-a-likes, many are not documented on the web. And as I have no flowers on top, it is wise to move it to the parent page.

Problem is when I ask to move the photos, I get the whole list of species but no parent page comes up, and I went through the whole list.

Maybe I'd better ask to delete them and then re-enter in the parent page?

For whatever reason...the parent page does not come up during the search when moving pictures. The only way to do that, as far as I know, is to get the 'plant number' for the parent page's url and enter that number into the search field when moving the pic.

In this case, for Baccharis, it would be 741551.

You can get it from the URL and it's also found on the left side below the Editing Actions list, listed as Plant ID. I always go and find the generic entries first to grab that number when moving photos.

Thanks, Sue, I'll try to remember for the future to use the number.
I tried with the URL, but that didn't work for me.

Just the Plant ID # from the URL, for instance, if you look at the URL for this thread, it has the number 63024. That's the portion you copy for a plant ID number.

I should have been more clear, I meant the plant number on the left side of the page as well on the parent plants 'page'. (I used the term 'url' instead of 'page'). Though, the plant number IS in the url of every plants database entry.

Quicker to grab it from the URL than scrolling down. nodding
