Do you know what kind of ants they are? Could they be living in one of the pots?

Are these plants that have spent time outside? or have they always been indoor plants.

No clue what kind of ants they are. Tiny, black, fast. Crossed my mind too that they're living in several pots. Think squirting the soil with mix of water/dish soap might be effective?

Christmas cacti had been outdoors last summer. Brugs have been kept indoors. Did hose the cacti off well before I brought them in. Should probably have repotted them too.

Water thoroughly (as in make sure that every bit of soil is soaked) with Insecticidal Soap. It kills ants on contact but has no residual effects. Be prepared with a spray bottle of Insecticidal Soap also, for all the ants that make their get-aways by climbing into the plant.
