|Hello! I am new to container gardening and need some advice. I would like to create a garden area using container plants. I have been able to find some awesome ideas but need some help with tree's.
I live in zone 7a and would like to have some dwarf or small trees as a back drop. Any suggestions on types of tree's that would best grown in big pots? They would need to tolerate Full Sun to some late afternoon shade in summer.

Personally. I would go with fruit trees, that would grow in your area. Or berries on a trellis.
Anything i say, could be misrepresented, or wrong.

|Are you prepared to bring the plants indoors for the winter months? or do you have a heated greenhouse?

|You could try a lilac. I grew one in a large container for several years in zone 5. Finally had to give it a spot in the ground, but did well in the container (half a 55 gallon drum) for quite a long time.
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.
